The Main direction of our activity is development and application of computer simulation for the analysis of biological data (tissue engineering, biomaterials/cell interaction, morphometric analysis of microobjects). We focus on integration of various types of experimental data and theoretical predictions of cells and tissue development both in vitro and in vivo. In particular, we are involved in modelling of tissue engineered constructions and identification of functionally important conditions of their homeostasis.
Validation stage include the creation of scaffold (prototype) with required inner microstructure, cell loading with further microscopy.
Final stage includes high-resolution scanning, computer recognition, reconstruction and 3-D structure simulation of biological tissues, image analysis and quantification of the tissue-engineering construction using computerized software.
